The Cartilage Research Foundation (CRF) was founded in 2002 by a select group of cartilage restoration surgeons who have jointly performed more than 2,000 cartilage restoration surgeries .  This foundation was organized as a nonprofit corporation in an effort to collectively further the treatment and outcomes of cartilage restoration procedures.
